Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under UK data protection law.
Version 1.0, 24 October 2026.
1. Who we are
The controller of personal information collected through this website is Emmanuel Izuwa, founder of Sidryn. Sidryn is being registered as a company in England and Wales, and this page will name the company and its registered office once registration is confirmed.
Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
We are checking whether we must pay the data protection fee to the Information Commissioner’s Office, and will add our reference here if so.
2. What we collect
This website does not set cookies, does not store anything in your browser, and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking. Our fonts and images are served from this site, so loading a page makes no request to any other company.
| How | What |
|---|---|
| Contact form | Nothing. The form only prepares a message in your own email app. This website does not send or keep what you type. |
| Emails you send us | Your name, email address and whatever you write, only if you send it. |
| Hosting logs | Your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type, recorded by our host to deliver pages and keep the site secure. |
3. Why we use it
- To reply to you and continue the conversation: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the website running and secure: legitimate interests.
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax records if we do business together: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
We will not send you marketing unless you ask us to.
4. Who else sees it
We never sell personal information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. Two suppliers run parts of our service for us:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and keeps the hosting logs.
- Zoho Corporation provides our email and holds the emails you send us.
We would also share information if the law required it, for example under a court order.
5. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| An enquiry that goes no further | 12 months from your last message |
| An ongoing business conversation | 24 months from the last contact, then reviewed |
| Tax and accounting records | 6 years, as UK law requires |
| Hosting logs | As kept by Cloudflare for security and delivery |
6. Where it is held
Cloudflare serves this site from its worldwide network, and Zoho holds our email in its data centres. Where information leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement. Ask us for the current position at any time.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or give you a copy to take elsewhere. It’s free and we reply within one month. Email [email protected].
8. Our products
Our products are in development and are not installed in anyone’s home, so we hold no data from any household. Before any product is installed, customers will be told exactly what it collects, where it is stored and for how long. Our products have no cameras and no microphones.
9. Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18 through it.
10. Changes
When this policy changes, the version and date at the top change too.
11. Complaints
Please tell us first, at [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
